The House of Sorrow was the site for Southern New England Association action featuring the Templeton Red Onions and Winchendon Rocking Horses.

The Winchendon Rocking Horses defeated the Templeton Red Onions, 5-3, at The House of Sorrow. Winchendon was led by 16-year old catcher Allen O'Leary, who was 2 for 3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ramón Govantes was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

Winchendon used the clutch hitting of Leandro Valdovinos to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Rocking Horses the lead, 4-3. For the game, Valdovinos had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

Valdovinos called the win "a lesson in teamwork."

Winchendon, now 9-5, has played well in the early going.
