Prats Shuts Out Gamblers, 1-0
|
Concord Stagecoaches hurler Miguel Prats was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Manchester Gamblers, shutting them out, 1-0, on 7 hits.
"Miguel was very aggressive tonight," Concord manager Induciomaro Castillo said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence."
Through 9 innings, Prats tallied 2 strikeouts and allowed 3 walks.
"He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager Juan Carlos Benítez said. "Prats has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."
So far this season, Prats is batting .168 with 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 24 hits in 143 at-bats, 15 walks and a .245 OBP. Prats has played in 48 games.
