The Concord Stagecoaches scored a tight, 5-4 win versus the Manchester Gamblers at Stagecoach Park. Concord pitcher Pedro Marrón held his own in the contest. Marrón got the win, improving to 16-12. He gave up 10 hits and walked 1 over 9 innings. He allowed 4 runs. The Stagecoaches saw their win-loss record go to 62-63. At the same time, the Gamblers fell to 38-87.

Teobaldo Sánchez had a clutch at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Stagecoaches. Coming up with the bases loaded and Concord trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.

"Pedro went out and did what we needed," said Concord manager Induciomaro Castillo.
