Gamblers Collect 5-3 Win Over Spuds
The Manchester Gamblers picked up a win at The Patch, knocking off the Derry Spuds, 5-3, in 10 innings. On the mound for Manchester was right-hander Ward Isbell. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. The last-place Gamblers are 41-62.

Manchester used the timely hitting of Eligio Alicia to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Gamblers on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Manchester manager Juan Carlos Benítez called it "a darn good win."
