The Bangor River Hogs picked up a win at The Dock, knocking off the Burlington Lightermen, 5-2. Starting pitcher Julio Estrada played a key role in the triumph. Bangor goes to 42-16. The win puts them 12½ games up in their division.

Bangor took the lead in the top of the seventh. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Serafín García stroked a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, River Hogs.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Daniel Garza told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
