The Manchester Gamblers picked up a win at Gamblers Den, downing the Rutland Quarrymen, 3-2. On the mound for Manchester was right-hander Ward Isbell, who played a pivotal role in the win. Isbell went the distance for Manchester. He gave up 2 runs on 9 hits. The Gamblers improved their record to 21-37 by beating Rutland.

Santiago Marrero hit a run-scoring triple off Radamés Bueno in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Gamblers in front, 3-2. Marrero had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
