The Rutland Quarrymen converted a terrific effort from starter Radamés Bueno into a win over the Burlington Lightermen at The Pit. The Quarrymen won the game by a final score of 4-1. Rutland is in first place in the Northern New England Association Vermont Circuit with a record of 21-7.
Bueno earned the win to move to 5-1. In his complete game performance, he allowed 1 run on 6 hits, striking out 7 and walking 2.
"Radamés is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Rutland manager Abundio Marino.
