Interdivisional Series Game 1 Victory for Bedolla and San Angelo
The San Angelo Killer Cacti started the Interdivisional Series in style, downing the visiting San Marcos Cadavers at San Angelo Stadium by a score of 5-4 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Killer Cacti right-hander Diego Bedolla threw 9.0 innings allowing 4 runs.

Daniel Shields dealt the Cadavers a blow in the bottom of the seventh. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and San Angelo leading 4-2, Shields hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Bedolla told the San Angelo Bulletin.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at San Angelo Stadium in San Angelo.
