Browns Earn Win with Late Rally
In a tight tilt between the St. Louis Browns and the Chicago Orphans, Weldon Henley was the deciding factor. The St. Louis right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. St. Louis is now 13-17, Chicago 18-12.

St. Louis used a timely hit from Cody Roberson to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Browns ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"You have to win 1-0, 3-2, 2-1 games if you want to get to where you want to go," said Browns manager George Winkleman.
