Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Spuds beat the Elms.

Spuds third baseman Belerofón Munguía left his mark on his team's 5-3 win over the Waterville Elms. Munguía went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Derry in the contest. The winner was Matías Estrada, who threw 131 pitches over 9 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 9 hits.

With the bases empty and no one out in the bottom of the sixth inning, left fielder Alfredo Baró delivered big for the Spuds. Derry was trailing 2-1 when he belted a solo home run.
