Las Marias Wins Serie Preliminar
The Las Marias Citricos appear confident and poised as they head off to the Serie Eliminatoria, after eliminating the Hormigueros Romeros by a series score of 3-1 in the Serie Preliminar.

"Things are clicking, it feels like this could be our year," said Las Marias pitcher Isidoro García, who was named series MVP. "You hate to use the word destiny, but it feels special."

The Citricos won the final game by a 4-3 count at Parque de los Romeros to wrap up the series.

For the series, García had a 1.00 ERA over 27 innings pitched. He added 15 strikeouts with a 2-0 record.

The Las Marias Citricos don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Lares Fieles - Camuy Murcielagos series. Camuy leads the series 2 games to 1. The Serie Eliminatoria schedule will be announced after the Serie Preliminar finishes.
