Roughnecks Get Thrilling 3-2 Win
Fans who congregated at Gas City Fields were treated to extra-inning drama.

In a tight tilt between the Sarnia Roughnecks and the London Regulars, Tony Schmidt was the difference-maker. The Sarnia right-hander excelled in his team's 3-2 win in 11 innings. Sarnia now owns a record of 29-24.

Sarnia used the timely hitting of Tomas Čepukas to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Roughnecks on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Tough loss," said London manager Solón Muñoz. "But we'll learn from it."
