Loss to Caneros Extends Yauco Losing Streak
Not everyone stuck through the 65-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

Right-hander Polideuco Torres mesmerized the Yauco Corsos while leading the Vega Baja Caneros to a 5-0 victory. Yauco, at 19-18, has lost 6 straight.

The Caneros got an important contribution from left fielder Heriberto Téllez, who in the bottom of the second hit a 0-2 curveball to right for a 2-run triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Caneros ahead, 3-0.

"Polideuco gave us a heck of an effort," said Vega Baja manager Juan Covarrubias.
