Bill Donovan hurled nothing but zeros at the Norwalk Maples in an impressive outing at The Rosebush. The Mentor pitcher allowed 2 hits, fanned 5, and walked 0 in blanking Norwalk, 5-0.
"There were a lot of frustrated guys walking back to the dugout," Norwalk manager Dagoberto Jaso said. "Not a fun day."
In 12 starts this season, Donovan has compiled a 9-3 record and a 2.12 ERA.
