Behind the hitting of Brian Knuth, the Mackinac Island Stone Skippers stopped the Bad Axe Stoplights, 5-4, in 11 innings. Knuth went 4-5 with a triple, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 for the Stone Skippers. Mackinac Island reliever Tito Hernández picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Inocencio Pérez was saddled with the loss. Mackinac Island has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

The Stone Skippers nabbed the win, in part because of shortstop Corey Hall. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered the game-winning run-scoring single.
