Roughnecks Topple Chicken Chuckers, 3-2
The Sarnia Roughnecks did just enough to sneak past the St Catharines Chicken Chuckers, 3-2, at St. Cloud Grounds. Sarnia pitcher Yohann Bessé, in particular, had a standout performance. The Roughnecks are off to a tough start, getting just their 10th win in 25 games.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Roughnecks had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the first, when designated hitter Tomas Čepukas hit a 2-run single. The single came off Jean Doucet and made the score 3-0, Roughnecks. Čepukas went 1-3, while adding 2 RBI.

"When you win, you always have confidence," said Sarnia skipper José Hernández. "Nobody likes to lose. Losing is a downer. That's how we look at it. It's always good to win."
