At St. Cloud Grounds, the London Regulars and Sarnia Roughnecks were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Sarnia Roughnecks starter Earl Eby pitched well against the London Regulars at St. Cloud Grounds, leading his team to a win, 3-2. The win moves Sarnia to a record of 9-14.

Ron Hamlyn had a big run-scoring double for the Roughnecks in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Sarnia leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a slider from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Peichun Tan and swatted a double to right. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Roughnecks ahead, 3-0.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Eby said.
