The performance of Jesús Aguilar proved critical in helping Norwalk beat Buffalo, 7-5, in 10 innings. The Maples second baseman was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Julián Rey got the win, improving to 3-1. He pitched 9 innings, giving up 9 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 8 and walking 2. Telesforo Mata notched his 1st save of the season.

Tulio Ceron's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a slider from Christiansen Goldbaek to right for a run-scoring single. It put Norwalk in front, 6-5.

Buffalo manager Tom Poorman, after yet another defeat, remained upbeat. He said: "We're going to get out of this thing, we're going to come busting through."
