The Louisville Colonels rode a solid performance from 36-year-old starting pitcher Adam Dixon to a win, beating the Kansas City Scouts, 9-2, at Eclipse Park II. The defeat makes the Scouts 6-9.
Ossee Schreckengost helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 4-1, Colonels.
"Once I cross that chalk line, I'm all business," said Dixon.
