A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the San Angelo Killer Cacti and Odessa Cowhands.

San Angelo registered a win at Odessa Fields by beating the Odessa Cowhands, 5-2. Pitcher Diego Bedolla was one reason why the Killer Cacti triumphed. San Angelo is now 90-39, 20 games up in the Eastern Association Odessa Circuit.

Marco Zapata was a prime contributor to the San Angelo win. He went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the sixth with two out, the 22-year old third baseman hit a 2-run single. It made the score 5-1, in favor of the Killer Cacti.

"We'll try to build on that win," Bedolla told the San Angelo Bulletin.
