Slumping Werewolves Lose Again
The Taos Artists beat the Los Lunas Werewolves in a game featuring much hitting but not much pitching. The final score was 12-9, Artists. One of the hitting stars was right fielder Justo Santana. Santana, who is tied for 4th in the FBL-WA in total bases with 246, was 3 for 5 with 2 triples and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Marcos Rocha, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 4.2 innings. The Artists own a robust 85-43 mark.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Artists grabbed the lead when Santana hit his 29th triple of the season. The 2-run triple off Josh Henderson made it 11-9, Taos.
