Lugo Confounds Mammoths as San Marcos Wins, 6-1
|
San Marcos Cadavers starter Mateo Lugo pitched well against the Waco Mammoths at Cadavers Park, leading his team to a win, 6-1. The Cadavers go to 72-51, putting them second in the Eastern Association San Marcos Circuit.
Lugo earned the win to move to 17-12. In his complete game performance, he allowed 1 run on 6 hits, striking out 7 and walking 2.
"Mateo did what Mateo does," said San Marcos manager Julio Naranjo.
