Killer Cacti Stay Hot with Extra-Inning Win
|
The San Angelo Killer Cacti topped the El Paso Finos, 4-3, in Eastern Association action at Finos Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of San Angelo pitcher Diego Bedolla. In 10 innings, Bedolla surrendered 10 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. He allowed 3 runs. The first-place Killer Cacti now have a record of 88-33.
Ricardo Reyes, who is tied for 2nd in the FBL-EA in triples with 19, had a direct impact on the outcome. Reyes contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put San Angelo up, 4-3.
"We've been playing some good baseball," Reyes told the San Angelo Observer. "We're aggressive and focused on what we're going to do on the field and getting it done."
