Artists 6-4 Winners Over Los Lunas
Taos registered a win at Werewolves Park by beating the Los Lunas Werewolves, 6-4. Pitcher Adrián Jiménez was one reason why the Artists triumphed. Jiménez, who is tied for 8th in the FBL-WA with a 2.52 ERA, went the distance for Taos. He gave up 4 runs on 7 hits. The first-place Artists are now 79-41, the Werewolves 47-73.

In the top of the seventh, 29-year old first baseman Lalo López delivered for Taos. That's when he belted a 2-run home run, putting the Artists up, 6-4. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a climactic one.

López said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
