The Prescott Lynx topped the Tempe Olympians, 3-2, in Western Association action at Prescott Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Prescott pitcher Oliver Huerta. With the win, Prescott raised its record to 68-52.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Juan Zamora in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 34-year old right-handed pitcher Noé González to win it for Prescott and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"I'm not out here to win a beauty contest," said Zamora. "Obviously."
