Artists Rally to Nose Past Los Lunas
The Taos Artists had to overcome a big game from Los Lunas designated hitter Rodrigo Polo to leave Werewolves Park with a victory. And they did, winning, 13-12, in 10 innings. Polo was 3-5 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Artists now have a record of 45-21 with the win over Los Lunas.

Taos used the timely hitting of Adán Calles to capture the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Artists on top, 13-11. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but he made it count.

"Both teams had plenty of clutch hits," said Calles. "It made for an exciting game."
