It was a fantastic day for Prescott Lynx starter Rodrigo Heredia and a lousy day for the Tucson Highwaymen.

The Prescott hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Highwaymen, as the Lynx cruised to a 1-0 win. When it was all over, Heredia was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter.

"The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Heredia said later.

He rang up 1 strikeout and allowed 1 walk while shutting Tucson down at Highwaymen Park.

This year, Heredia has recorded a 10-6 mark. In 16 starts he has fanned 54 batters in 144.2 innings with a 1.99 ERA.
