San Angelo beat Marfa on the strength of starting pitcher Diego Bedolla's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-2. Bedolla got the win, improving to 9-5. He gave up 10 hits and walked 1 over 9 innings. He allowed 2 runs. San Angelo is now 35-18, while Marfa is 22-31.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 2-2, 24-year old right fielder Sabino Arista won it for San Angelo. With the bases loaded, Arista hit a 1-1 splitter from Inocencio López for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 3-2 win.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Bedolla told the San Angelo Bulletin.
