Wichita Falls Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Starting pitcher Íñigo León pitched well enough to help the Wichita Falls Yardmen beat the Amarillo Horizons, 5-4. In 11 innings, León surrendered 10 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 4 runs. With the win, Wichita Falls goes to 25-28, while the Horizons fall to 26-27.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 11th, 34-year old second baseman Serafín Martínez had a chance to be the hero. Amarillo pitcher Jesús Escobales had other ideas. But with one out, Martínez hit a run-scoring single. The Yardmen had themselves a dramatic win.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Martínez.
