Wichita Falls Keeps Spiraling Downward
Bartolomé Carrada, who is tied for 6th in the FBL-WA in strikeouts with 35, propelled his team to victory over the Wichita Falls Yardmen. The final score was 5-3, Amarillo. The win elevated the Horizons to 22-16.

An inflection point occurred with one out in the bottom of the fifth. That's when Horizons left fielder Armando Espinosa hit a fastball from Símaco Montes for a 2-run triple. Just like that, Amarillo was up, 3-2.

Said losing manager Kevin Kerfoot: "These are the grinding hard days that all good teams go through, and this is when we've got to stick together and believe in one another."
