Lynx Snatch Late Win
The Prescott Lynx picked up a win at Prescott Stadium, downing the Tempe Olympians, 4-3. On the mound for Prescott was left-hander Diego Navarro, who played a pivotal role in the win. Poncio Vela was the winner in relief. His record is now 4-0. The losing pitcher was Edelmiro Salazar. At 20-19, the Lynx claim second place in the Western Association Phoenix Circuit.

In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 3-3, 19-year old first baseman Hestio Castillo won it for Prescott. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Castillo hit a 1-0 fastball from Edelmiro Salazar for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 4-3 win.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Castillo.
