Albuquerque left fielder Delmar Fernández had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Los Lunas Werewolves, 5-1. Albuquerque pitcher Herminio Vargas got the win. He's now 4-6. Joseph Rolland was tagged with the loss. The losses continue to add up for Los Lunas, having now dropped 8 straight.

With Albuquerque leading 2-0 in the top of the fifth, Fernández batted against Los Lunas pitcher Joseph Rolland. Fernández hit a fastball to left-center for a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season put the Dukes on top, 4-0.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Fernández told the Albuquerque News. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
