Arellano Excels in 7-6 Yauco Win
The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

The Yauco Corsos grabbed a win, 7-6, over the Vega Alta Martilleros at Coliseo Aldo Gallardo. Yauco shortstop Martín Arellano was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Yauco, with the win, is 10-27.

Yauco pinch hitter Clemente Linares helped the Corsos go up, 6-5, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Linares hit a run-scoring single off Vega Alta pitcher Paulino Hernandes.

"We got the victory," said Linares. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
