A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Marfa Ghost Lights and El Paso Finos.

The Marfa Ghost Lights defeated the El Paso Finos, 10-4, at Ghost Lights Park. Marfa was led by 26-year old left fielder Homero Gómez, who was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Brandon Chalmers, who went 8.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 7 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 3-0.

Isaías Peña hit a 2-run double off Mike Skidmore in the bottom of the first, which put the Ghost Lights in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Peña had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.
