Reginaldo Cervantes, who leads the FBL-WA in complete games with 4, propelled his team to victory over the Tucson Highwaymen. The final score was 4-3, Tempe. The loss drops Tucson to 9-6.

Tempe used the timely hitting of Roano Martínez to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Olympians on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Martínez said his team "played with focus."
