Moulds Hits 2 home runs in Guiristas Win
The Penuelas Guiristas defeated the Rio Grande Cotorras, 9-5, at Recinto Atlético del Noreste. Penuelas third baseman Bob Moulds had a superb performance. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Penuelas pitcher Basilio Gallegos got the win, upping his record to 4-5. Ezequiel Vásquez got the loss. With the win, Penuelas raised its record to 18-17.

With Penuelas leading 5-0 in the top of the fifth, Moulds came up to bat against Rio Grande pitcher Ezequiel Vásquez. Moulds hit a slider to left-center for a grand slam home run. His 10th home run of the season put the Guiristas on top, 9-0.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Moulds.
