Reyes Swings Werewolves to 13-9 Win
Pascual Reyes was the difference-maker for the Los Lunas Werewolves in what turned into a shootout with the Taos Artists. Reyes, who is tied for 5th in the FBL-WA in total bases with 30, went 4-for-5 in the 13-9 Werewolves win. Josh Henderson snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Octavio Álvarez suffered the loss. Early on, the Werewolves, at 9-3, have excelled.

With Los Lunas leading 8-5 in the bottom of the third, Reyes hit a cutter from Marcos Rocha for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Werewolves ahead, 12-5.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Reyes told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
