Not everyone stuck through the 15-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

Morovis Excepciones starter Fintan Williams found his groove in his team's 7-3 win over the Caguas Ruidosos. The loss has the Ruidosos at 2-5.

Vicente Martín had a big 3-run home run for the Excepciones in the bottom of the second inning. With Morovis leading 3-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a changeup from 19-year old left-handed pitcher Carlos Carlos and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Excepciones on top, 6-1.

"Fintan pitched his heart out," said Morovis manager Armando Ordaz.
