Slumping Giants Lose Again
Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Philadelphia Phillies got the win.

The Philadelphia Phillies cut down the New York Giants by the score of 4-3, with the largest share of the credit going to right fielder Elmer Flick. Flick went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs for the Phillies. New York is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 8 in a row.

Tuck Turner helped the cause in the bottom of the sixth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. His at-bat contributed to the Philadelphia win.

"We've hit a lull," said New York manager Chris Petty.
