Las Marias and Coamo got after it at Estadio Graciano Figueroa.
The Las Marias Citricos topped the Coamo Termales, 11-2, in Liga Betances action at Estadio Graciano Figueroa. The standout performance belonged to Las Marias pitcher and San Juan, Puerto Rico, native Carlos Sosa. Sosa, now 16-17, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs.
José Rodríguez didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to put Las Marias on top, 1-0.
