Though the conditions were not ideal, the Lares Fieles and Arecibo Lobos came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Sebastián Pérez was locked in. The left-hander led the Lares Fieles to a 6-5 win against the Arecibo Lobos at Estadio Municipal de Arecibo. Pérez went the distance for Lares. He gave up 5 runs on 6 hits.

In the top of the sixth, the Fieles took the lead, 6-4, when 33-year old center fielder Ramiro Martín hit a sacrifice fly.

"When you win, you always have confidence," said Lares skipper Mario Carrasco. "Nobody likes to lose. Losing is a downer. That's how we look at it. It's always good to win."

Lares is now 71-91, Arecibo 77-85.
