Late Rally Leads to 4-3 Palomas Triumph
Two of the league's top teams went head-to-head in a late-season match-up.

Cidra parlayed a decent outing from starter Miguel Acosta into a solid win over the Patillas Cuervos. The final score was 4-3. The win was credited to 29-year old right-handed pitcher Édgar Zúñiga in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Felipe Hernández took the loss.

Hércules Guerrero was the walk-off hero for Cidra. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Palomas center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Acosta said.

The Palomas improved their record to 104-55 with the win over Patillas.
