Slumping Guiristas Lose Again, 10-5
Another day, another victory for the red-hot Naguabo Navegadores.

Pablo Salmerón had a 5-RBI game, during Naguabo's 10-5 triumph over the Penuelas Guiristas. Salmerón contributed 1 single and 1 home run to the cause. Padraic Quinlevan, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 9 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 20-9.

With Naguabo leading 5-4 in the bottom of the fifth, Salmerón batted against Penuelas pitcher Basilio Gallegos. Salmerón hit a changeup to center for a grand slam home run. His 13th home run of the season put the Navegadores on top, 9-4.

"Eventually, the carousel ride will end," said Salmerón. "But for now, we'll do our best to enjoy it."

With the win, Naguabo goes to 115-45, while the Guiristas fall to 81-77.
