Soles Deal Electricos 4-2 Setback

Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Luquillo Soles take on the Guayanilla Electricos.
The Luquillo Soles defeated the Guayanilla Electricos, 4-2, at Estadio Pedro González. Luquillo was led by 26-year old second baseman Marcos Picart, who was 3-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Senén Dávila, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities.
Guayanilla had the bases loaded in the top of the sixth. With two out, Ramiro Hernández stood at the plate, hoping to find a gap. Instead, he popped out. The score remained 4-2, Luquillo. The Electricos never could mount a comeback.
