Termales Lose Versus Aguadilla, 4-2
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Aguadilla Colmillos and Coamo Termales.
The Aguadilla Colmillos knocked off the Coamo Termales, 4-2, in Liga Betances action at Estadio Graciano Figueroa. Aguadilla pitcher and San Juan, Puerto Rico, native Epifanio Ruiz had an outstanding performance. Félix Guardado wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.
Aguadilla used a well-timed hit by Paul Slater to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Colmillos ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Ruiz.
Coamo is 15-14 after the defeat.
