Aguas Buenas third baseman Regan Kenny contributed significantly to his team's 5-2 win over the Orocovis Caciques. Kenny, who is tied for 9th in the LB in runs scored with 87, went 4 for 5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Mulos. Manuel Cortés got the win, improving to 32-9. He held the Caciques to 2 runs on 6 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 1. The Mulos have an impressive 99-49 record.
Aguas Buenas used the timely hitting of Luciano Lizama to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Mulos on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
After the game, Aguas Buenas manager Tomás Tapia applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
