6-2 Macabeos Win over Capitanes Evens Season Record
Trujillo Alto and Mayaguez took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Trujillo Alto Macabeos got a good effort from starter Steve Myall in defeating the Mayaguez Capitanes at Campo de los Macabeos. The final score was 6-2. With the victory, the Macabeos record stands at 73-73.

The Macabeos got a lift from right fielder Conrado Sánchez, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a run-scoring triple. His 2nd triple of the season put the Macabeos on top, 3-1.

"Steve gave us a heck of an effort," said Trujillo Alto manager Felipe Soto.
