Player of the Week: AZL's Bush Monday, August 25th , 2003 The hottest bat of the week belonged to AZL shortstop Matt Bush. He went on a rampage last week against ARIZ hurlers and rapped out 10 hits in 19 at-bats for a .526 average while hitting no home runs, driving in 2 runs and scoring 3 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Arizona League Player of the Week trophy. Bush was honored today at a press conference. For the year, Bush is batting .276 with 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. |
