It's a No-No for Snyder Tuesday, August 19th , 1997 John Snyder of the AZL Cardinals was the King of the Hill today at Peoria Stadium. The AZL starter dominated the AZL Giants, giving up zero hits in his 7-0 victory. "The toughest part was the last couple of innings," Snyder recounted after the game. "You know you have a no-hitter going, and so does everybody in the ballpark. That was the hard part, keeping focused and concentrating while your heart is pounding." Snyder recorded 11 strikeouts and 3 walks in the game. Snyder has made 5 starts this season, posting 3 wins and 1 loss. Opposing clubs are batting .132 against him and he has 36 strikeouts in 37 innings with a 1.95 ERA. |
