Playoffs? No Chance for AZL Saturday, August 8th , 1998 The playoff hopes of the AZL Giants -- which were already faint at best -- are now completely extinguished. The team will miss the playoffs this year, being mathematically eliminated from contention today. This is the 4th time in a row that the Giants have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 1994. |
